How We Add Quality to Our Furniture

Custom Desk has been manufacturing durable wood office furniture for over 30 years. We take a lot of pride in the fact that some of our customers have had our furniture for over 20 years. At Custom Desk, we put a lot of effort into the details and quality of our furniture.

There are a lot of small details that go into manufacturing durable, beautiful office furniture that will last.

Materials

We use top quality veneers on all of the work surfaces, modesties, door fronts, drawer fronts and legs. The beauty of our furniture comes from the expert grain matching of top grade veneers and hardwoods specially made to our demanding specifications.

Construction

Our manufacturing process assures that component pieces will fit together with tight seams.

Finishing

To preserve the natural beauty of the wood, three coats of a catalyzed lacquer is applied to all of our exposed surfaces. Lasting beauty is maintained with light cleaning using a soft damp cloth. No furniture polish is required.

Aesthetics

We also try to hide metal joinery as much as possible. Vertical connections between two pieces are connected with a solid wood connector panel and the metal horizontal connectors are hidden under the work surface. The only reason we use metal connectors under the work surface is so that they can help form a tight smooth seam on top.
